Joep Zeeman
Joep Zeeman is a programme officer within Together for greener healthcare, responsible for facilitating and coordinating networks, collaborations, and environmental analyses. He also supports implementation design and other project-related activities. Together with the programme manager, Joep serves as a point of contact for participating hospitals and partner organisations. In addition to this role, Joep is a scientific researcher at Erasmus MC, focusing on sustainability in Intensive Care.
Joep has a background in Commercial Economics with a specialisation in Sport Marketing & Management. After completing this degree, he was given the opportunity to explore a long-standing interest: nature and sustainability. Following a year of Business Administration, he began the master’s programme in Global Business & Sustainability.
During his thesis, Joep focused on benchmarking sustainability performance in Intensive Care units across the Netherlands. After completing his master’s degree, he joined the Together for greener healthcare programme team at the end of 2024. He combines this role with his ongoing research at Erasmus MC.
